Under 8 Boys and Girls

Players in our U7 division play 4 versus 4 on the field with no goalkeepers. Every player gets to play at least 50% of each game. Teams usually have 8 players each and play two 20 minute halves with stoppage for substitutions at about 10 minutes of play. The coaches are also the referees. The practice location, days of week, time and length are up to the coach, but typically for this age division, the players practice twice a week for about an hour and games are on Saturdays. Coaches usually start contacting players the third week of August. The season will consist of 9-10 games starting the Saturday after Labor Day.
