SCYSL has four open Board of Director positions and needs your support to manage and run our soccer league. Helping-out your soccer league is easy and very fulfilling. | Newsletter Editor | Edit, manage, and produce The Keeper, our monthly newsletter. We need someone who can take on the editorial and production aspects, such as content, layout, working with the printer, and preparation for mailing. Please contact David Burke | 5 hours per month | in your home |

| Field Measurement and Marking | Up to five volunteers are needed specifically on August 25 to help with measuring and marking the fields for the fall season. | Equipment Management | A volunteer is needed approximately twice a month to help with organizing the equipment shed. Please contact Jose Casas if you can help out on this activity. | 2 hours | Curtis field |
| Tournament Field Marshals | Field marshals are needed to monitor compliance with City of Santa Clara regulations for tournament games held at the Soccer Park. Please contact Jose Casas if you are available to help with the District Cup on September 30 and October 1. | 2 hour shifts available | Santa Clara Soccer Park |
| Field Striping | During the season, fields need to be repainted weekly. In one evening you can earn your volunteer refund and make the following day's games a better experience for hundreds of players! Please contact Demitri Cacoyannis if you can help with this activity. | Newsletter Sorting and Labeling | Every month a volunteer is needed to help with the distribution of The Keeper, the SCYSL's newsletter. From your own home you can label and sort the latest newsletter for mailing. Please contact the Newsletter Editor if you are interested in helping. | 3+ hours | at your own home (some travel involved) |
| Field Open and Close | A volunteer is needed every weekend of the season to help with field opening and closing. In the morning the equipment needs to be unlocked and made available to the first teams of the day for field setup. At the end of the day the equipment needs to be locked up and the garbage needs to cleaned up. | Picture Day Volunteers | The annual Picture Day is coming around again in September, and volunteers are needed to help the photography team. Please contact Carrie, the Picture Coordinator if you are interested. | 2 hour shifts | Curtis field |
