Here’s a Fun and Rewarding opportunity for SCYSL high school and college aged soccer players to volunteer at FC Gold Pride home soccer games this season!
Participation is both rewarding and an easy way for high school students to serve their community through soccer and earn volunteer community hours.
GPC is a non-profit organization committed to mentoring young girls to become confident young women through participation in soccer-related events. By providing girls the opportunity to develop relationships with high school, college and professional female athletes, GPC provides girls from low- income neighborhoods an opportunity to connect with role models who can demonstrate to them what they can achieve through teamwork, practice, dedication and an eye towards a goal – on the field or in life. We want to leverage the game of soccer to inspire young girls to strive to achieve their dreams.
The Game Day Mentorship Experience
Here’s a great opportunity for high school and college aged soccer players to get involved and support our community! In partnership with the Bay Area Women’s Sports Initiative (BAWSI) young girls from under-served communities are invited as the guests of dedicated high school and college soccer players - to share a day of fun at FC Gold Pride Women’s Professional soccer games - and to be mentored to develop self esteem and reach for higher goals in their lives - through hard work, teamwork, learning to make healthy choices, in school, on the field, and with their lives.
