The Santa Clara Youth Soccer League is a member of the US Youth Soccer (USYS) participating in USYS Region IV, California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA-N) and District II. The league offers four levels of soccer: Class 4 Recreational soccer, Class 3 Comp Soccer, Class 1 Select Soccer, and TOP Soccer provides a youth soccer experience for children with special needs..

Santa Clara Fusion are Finalists at North Valley Classic
The Santa Clara Fusion Girls U14 soccer team were Finalists at the North Valley December Classic Soccer Tournament held December 3rd-4th in Milpitas. The U14 girls bracket had four teams competing in the tournament, so every team would play every team once, and then total points earned would determine first, second, and third place.

Santa Clara Vipers Win North Valley Classic
The Santa Clara Vipers Girls U10 soccer team were crowned champions at the North Valley December Classic Soccer Tournament held December 3rd-4th in Milpitas. Santa Clara Strikers ‘96 Crowned 2011 District Cup Champions
The Santa Clara Strikers ’96 U15 Boys team competed in the District II Fall Cup on October 22nd-23rd advancing to the finals after scoring eight goals and only allowing two goals in their three qualifying games. The team faced the Almaden Valley United team and won a hard fought championship in hot weather by the score of 2-0, winning the Bronze Division and posting its 3rd shutout in four games. Santa Clara Fire Win Soccer by the Bay Tournament
The Santa Clara Fire U11boys team participated in the Soccer by the Bay last weekend in San Mateo. With allowing only 3 goals and scoring 14 in 4 games, Santa Clara Fire took first place overall in the bronze division. Fire also had two shutouts during their 4-0-0 championship run and faced a tough Peninsula Hawks team for the final. Way to go FIRE!

Ralf Cebrian Awarded 2011 CYSA State & District II Coach of the Year
Congratulations to Ralf Cebrian, who receive the 2010 CYSA State Coach of the Year, and the 2010 CYSA District II "Coach of the Year Award" todayat the Annual CYSA Expo held in Monterey. He receives recognition for coaching the Santa Clara Sporting ’94 Boys Team and taking them from an unranked Class 3 Team, to a Top-10 Class 1 Ranked Team in the United States. In forty years of coaching Ralf Cebrian has worked with various age groups from U-10 to Professional.

SCYSL Top Soccer Finishes 3rd Season!
Santa Clara Youth Soccer finished the 2010 Top Soccer Season with their annual End-of-the-Year soccer game and Party on Friday night, November 19th at the Santa Clara Youth Soccer Park. About 40-50 players, siblings, volunteers and parents braved the chilly weather, but enjoyed the one hour game and pizza party. Many thanks to Tricia Biocini who runs the SCYSL Top Soccer Program along with volunteers from our league.
